After spending the afternoon lounging poolside in the Vegas sun, and pounding the pavement on the strip with the weekend crowds…
We decided it was definitely time for some well earned midnight snacks, to refuel, having been depleted by our after-dark shopping expedition (shopping after 10pm, OMG).
We had heard about a mysterious pizza parlour located inside The Cosmopolitan. A cursory glance over our in-room directory offered no clues.
But a call to our trusty concierge delivered the goods:
J: So (pause), I hear there’s a secret pizza joint?
Concierge: Hmm. You’ve heard that, have you? (longer pause) Well, maybe.
J: There is, isn’t there?
Concierge: Try the corridor next to Jaleo. Enjoy your evening!
Judging by the hungry crowd we encountered that Friday, this place is probably the worst kept secret on the strip.
The huge range of food available in this town, from the elaborate to down and dirty $3.99 buffets was overwhelming.
So seeing a menu this simple was a breath of fresh air for the travel weary, hungry and increasingly cranky members of our group (me).
We abandoned all food-related feelings of guilt and left any ideas of healthy eating at the door. Here’s our pepperoni and peperoncini pizza – pictured with a bottle of Mike’s hard lemonade to give you a sense of the sheer size of this thing.
With a base that was simultaneously crisp and chewy, super-thin salty slices of pepperoni, and spicy slivers of green-golden pickled peperoncini – this pizza was perfection! It was just the thing for our tired souls (and soles).
If you stumble across this place and you’re not in the mood for pizza (god knows why that would be) then you’re in luck! Besides pizza, beer on tap, wine and dessert are on the menu, and you’ll even find some old school pinball machines

First I love Mikes hard lemonade! Wish we had it here! And how great is American pizza?!?!
Agreed! We all got quite addicted to Mikes in LV. Great hot weather drink – so refreshing!
That bottle of Mike’s looks soooo tiny compared to that mammoth pizza! Now I’m craving some pizza and Vegas, hehe.
I wish my crappy iPhone night shot truly did it justice. We laughed hysterically when they handed us the box – it was almost embarrassing!
